How’s it going, I’m Chase AKA Ced.
I work in Digital Engineering at GE Aerospace by day and spend way too much time building infrastructure in my homelab by night.
What started as curiosity turned into a full blown obsession with Linux, Kubernetes, observability, automation, cloud infrastructure, and building real systems that actually solve problems.
At home, I run a 6-node Proxmox VE cluster, a 12-node Raspberry Pi K3s cluster, a full observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager), a VLAN-segmented UniFi network, TrueNAS storage, Cloudflare tunnels, and a live NOC dashboard all out of my house.
This blog is where I document the real builds, real incidents, troubleshooting, wins, failures, configs, and lessons learned while leveling up in DevOps, Platform, Cloud, and Infrastructure Engineering.
No fluff. No fake guru stuff. Just real tech, real learning, and real systems.
